You should always contact PVZP before you use the insurance (excluding emergencies)

You will need to know your contract number before you call.
Call the assistance service and they will confirm the insurance is valid (especially for first time use).
The assistance can recommend a medical service near where you live or work.
The assiatnce service can book appointments for you if necassary.
Calling the assiatnce service will smooth out billing and payments.
PVZP especially recommend that you call the assistance service if you plan on using non contracted medical services.

Our insurance product Comprehensive Health Insurance EXCLUSIVE is a quality health insurance designed for foreigners. It is identical in scope to public health insurance. The insurance benefit is limited to a single claim limit and you can also take out insurance for hospitalisation and medical expenses insurance for the Schengen area.
If you are pregnant, we recommend taking out Comprehensive Foreigners' Health Insurance PLUS or EXCLUSIVE insurance of the Standard + Newborn type. For this type of insurance, the waiting period that would apply for the Standard type does not apply in the case of benefits for pregnancy and childbirth related medical care. In addition, this insurance also covers postnatal care for the newborn (from birth to a maximum of 3 months of age), i.e. medical care immediately following the birth without interrupting the continuity of hospitalisation.
PVZP Exclusive health insurance
The first commercial medical insurance for foreigners, the scope of which is identical to that provided under public medical insurance in the Czech Republic
This product also includes other useful services (assistance service, repatriation, transport of bodily remains, with the insured being absolved eof paying the regulatory fee)
Unlike other commercial medical insurance products, this insurance has absolutely no exclusions

The amount of the insurance benefit limit is CZK 10 million per insured event
